The Field Safety Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our field employees, subcontractors and overall worksite. The Field Safety Coordinator will collaborate closely with project managers, supervisors, and field personnel to continuously improve safety practices and compliance. Prepares cost estimates by studying conditions, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel. Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting to identify target accounts
  • Cold calling to set up meetings with new accounts
  • Go to meetings with new accounts to create interest and uncover project opportunities for quoting.
  • Keep in touch with existing relationships to ensure project quoting opportunities
  • Must be able to read and understand drawings for projects that need to be quoted
  • Utilize tools and equipment for quoting and bid tracking
  • Communicate and solicit bids from sub-contractors and vendors
  • Generate tentative schedules to determine job durations based on specifications, job conditions and required work
  • Takeoff accurate quantities of ductwork, pipe, etc.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, design professionals, sub-contractors, vendors, and co-workers
  • Win opportunities and meet revenue and margin goals
